As our fashion designs for indigo have to be embroidered, we all attended a quick embroidery workshop as part of our lesson plan to learn a few new hand embroidery stitches.

Fashion Designs for Indigo
Ive just started my new brief, which is for fashion designs. I have picked a trend which my drawings and final designs will be inspired by. The trend im following is for Womenswear a/w 2012/13 and is called 'Bohemian'. I will be taking inspiration from tribal tapestries, geometric shapes, feathers, crochet, wood and various other things. My designs will be mostly embroidered and may include some screen-print and digital print. I will be posting images of my work and images which i have taken inspiration from throughout my project!
Hopefully i will be taking my designs to Indigo in Paris in february, and possibly selling some of my designs which is quite exciting!
