Sarah Morpeth

Today i attended a workshop which was led by Sarah Morpeth. She produces beautiful artist books by cutting and folding paper to create intricate pop-up designs. The image below shows her work, take a look at her website to see the rest of her gorgeous pieces.

In the workshop she demonstrated how to make and range of different books by folding and cutting paper. Then by adding cuts along the folds of the pages, she taught how to create pop-ups on the pages of our books. She also showed us how to make a stitch book, by using a range of papers to create the pages, and a needle and thread technique to bind the book together.

Looking back...

Looking through pictures on my camera and i came across lots of old photos from college so i thought i would post these pictures i found from my exhibition show for my Final Major Project, inspired by the English Garden.

Finished Garment Shapes.

After having a few very busy weeks after Christmas, I have finally finished my garment shapes ready for Indigo in Paris! I have spent endless hours embroidering but all the hard work was worth it! Here's a few sneaky images of the embroidery on some of my garment shapes.
